British
Pie Society
Pie Society has been going for many years now and is definitely my favourite place for British style pies. There are some traditional fillings like chicken and mushroom as well as more creative ones like The Premiership (chicken Balti pie). The pies come in various packages from basic pie or pie with a side . Whichever one you choose, you can't really go wrong. They also do a Sunday roast and an English breakfast for those who might not be feeling the pie vibe as well as snacks like Scotch eggs and sausage rolls.

Guinness Social by Butler & Whites

The Guinness Social is a godsend for Brits in Shanghai who miss home comfort foods like fish and chips, a full English breakfast or even a deep fried Mars Bar. They also do a Sunday roast every Sunday that comes with meats, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, carrots, cabbage, mashed potato, roast potato and peas. It can be tricky to find in the maze that is Tianzifang - try to enter from Taikang Road exit number 1 and walk for about 150 meters - but if all else fails, just wander around and you will eventually stumble across it.
