Was It Worth It?
In my last post I talked about the Azul Italiano Weave new opening deal although I had not tried it. Well, now I've tried it and the short answer is yes, the new opening deal is a fantastic deal. You get a whole load of dishes - appetisers, pizza and pasta, main course and desserts for just 188 RMB.
Just a few areas for improvement: the food came so fast I was still in the wine room selecting a wine to go with the meal when the appetisers were delivered and the rest of the food came soon after. I guess in future I would just request to hold the mains until later. No big deal.
The food overall felt a tad underseasoned for my tastes. Again, not a massive issue as you can always add seasoning but you can't remove it.
The deal ends end of September so there's only a couple of days left if you want to give it a try.
Bonus tip: the 2-hour free flow deal on Dianping for 150 RMB is quite a good deal. The quality of the drinks was good. We enjoyed an Aperol Spritz, red Sangria, Gin & Tonic and a glass of white wine before we admitted defeat.
